In Z Nation, Anastasia plays “Addy,” an artist turned fierce survivor in the apocalypse.
While undoubtedly hardened by the chaos of the world falling apart, Addy maintains a positive attitude about the future.
She is committed to preserving what is left of the human legacy with her GoPro and opts to give “mercy” to zombies whenever possible. Over the course of the season, Addy goes on a tumultuous and emotional journey of her own, plagued by suppressed memories from the first night of the outbreak.
While separated from the group, the horror of what she had to do to survive violently surfaces and causes her to snap.
Overwhelmed by the thought of having to kill another person she loves, she stays at a women’s commune, leaving the rest of the team, and her love “Mack,” behind.
